It will be the wages that will be the sticking point. He would almost be guaranteed first team football and the facilities and stadium at Sunderland are premier league standard. Add on to that the vision of the new owners and a (potentially very talented ) attack minded manager in Jack Ross then it becomes an exciting prospect for fringe players at premier league clubs looking to get games.No idea to be honest, but judging by the recruitment so far this summer I would expect him to leave.
Love to see him go to you lot, but as has already been mentioned L1 may be a bit too far back for him.
