Exactly. The owners kept talking about the Dortmund Model,of which I don’t know what their interpretation Dortmund Model is, when all they needed to do was just mimic what Southampton did when last in League 1 and use their good academy to put promising players into the squad and round them off with sensible buys to bolster the squad. Seemed to work for them since they used this to get them into the premier league.
 
I would have sort of accepted being in this league for a couple seasons had we went for young energetic players instead of the aged slow shite we have. Even the young Dobson is slow as fuck. Stewart Donald has without doubt took this club back 5 to 10 years, when it would have been a lot easier coming down using parachute payments to fire us straight back up. He is an incompetent fuckwit who deserves no respect whatsoever, even I could have cuts costs like him and ruined our academy and still be in League one. What is his claim to fame? He cut costs and saved us from relegation again?

Most likely because it’s become crystal clear he has not been, and never was ”trying to do a job for us” If we had been in any way successful during his tenure it would have been purely coincidental and a by product of his plan for personal enrichment, and not due to altruism.

SD expected a quick return on his outlay, he seen an opportunity to turn a big club around and make some money.
Sadly he’s fucked up most of his objectives, if not all.

Because he f***ing lied.
He said the club was debt free.
It wasn't £20m+ was still owed to short, and he stole that money from the club to pay that debt.

And Short is complicit with this lie.

I did, for ages. I hate to see anyone condemned without a trial. But it became apparent what his game was. To continue to try and justify what he’s done, and is still doing is beyond comprehension.
