Obsessed with Bob ye like

Bobs on the money 9 times out of 10

You,me And everyone else will see it as a takeover but the likes of @Grumpy Old Man will see it as an investment due to the way Madrox will be possibly structured.
If the majority shareholder leaves its a takeover no doubt about it
If someone other than Donald ends up with more than 50% of Madrox, it's a takeover. End of story. If no-one has more than 50%, then there's no single owner.
@Gillythedilf there ya go

Can't believe people want the thread locked, there's so obviously a buy out happening and so many dots being connected yet people want the thread locked for what exactly?

Cause even though we have been told we wont hear anything till the end of the month people are claiming fuck all is happening when no updates are provided on an hourly basis

In terms of cost and quick win we should be an easier prospect than the mags... And with less expectational baggage.
But it all comes down to real ambition talent in recruitment and having a coherent plan. That's were Madrox universally failed.
Imho they are worse than short... Who despite all the fuckups wanted the club to progress
Donald seems to have relied heavily on his mate Hill whose input appears to have been a definite negative on the construction of the team. Mates didn't help Peter Reid if you remember Adrian Heath's disastrous input.

Neither us or the Mags are money makers for some time. I reckon a conservative estimate is that it'll be 5 years before we make a potential operating profit for an owner spending the money necessary to get near the PL.

We won't make money in the Championship, we might break even with a frugal owner, but that will be similar to our position now in some ways.

There's a reason why people seem to walk away once they start delving deeper. It's not just us as a club, it's any 'sleeping giant' - you've got to be willing to gamble £100m+ before you see even a penny back, let alone make an overall profit on your investment.

I'm sure someone will do it though, some day, but if they do it will likely be ego driven.
Nevertheless with canny recruitment and innovative marketing it is possible. Bob Murray with very little actual input financially managed to get us comfortable in the Premier League for a good few years. Somebody with more initiative and ambition could certainly take us to the next level in the EPL

A change in majority shareholder is a takoever, whether that's Sartori or anyone else. That's a simple matter of company law.
Be interesting to see who ends up with what. Just hope it’s not a ploy by two of Maddox-JS, CM-to keep SD sweet behind the scenes and that Donald goes, and whoever the new investors are make their presence(s) felt from the off as SAFC needs a metaphorical rocket up its jacksy as a third season in the backwaters illustrates.

Which is why I hate the phrase "speculate to accumulate", which is actually just a fancy way of saying "betting".
Although I agree in the way that most fans understand the concept, it’s not quite betting in the truest sense as it is an outcome over which the club has a good degree of control.
