He does, but I agree with @wackyjacky - to me, he said it in general terms. That we, the collective, have been given a date, the end of August, so let's see what happens. I know the "date" isn't a specific date, because he muddies it a bit with "or sooner" and "or before the start of the season" but it sounded to me like he was just saying let's get to the end of August and see if anything has happened and then take it from there

Surely people can see that this is the best indication that something IS happening. No communication means that strict NDA's are been adhered to and a deal (hopefully) been agreed to can not be compromised. I listened to the NB podcast yesterday and he stuck to his original story which again is a good indicator that a deal is in the offing.
