People who have been employed to put the owners plans into action will never see the devastation these plans have caused. They were responsible for bringing the plans from the mind of the owner into the nightmares of the fans.There’s a lot of immediate damage even before going into the finer/background damage. The main ones impacting us on the pitch are;
-We’re starting league 1 for a third consecutive year and the squad has got weaker every year
- Phil Parkinson is manager
- The academy has been decimated under his ownership whilst his pal with no experience has ran it. All these young players that could have made a difference here gone.
The reality is as you state above. Employees and former employees won’t like it because they were implementing the orders and can only see the club as a success because they successfully implemented their particular set of orders. No one can argue that Donald hasn’t been successful in implementing his vision for the club, it’s just his vision was too one dimensional and was at the cost of too many other aspects of running a football of the stature of Sunderland. Maybe they all need to look at it from an unbiased perspective to see how much shit we are really in with respect to the footballing side of the club. After all thats at the core of the business and getting that right will bring other areas into line.
