The thing about O'Brien's is they are absolute died in the wool lads fans, some members of their families have been involved with supporter's groups and sponsored the club for years. I'd imagine some of them will post on here as well, if they do get involved they are the sort of people who would only pass the club onto proper football people if the time ever comes, personally I hope the club is always owned in part by someone who is a genuine fan.
They’ll be the ones to keep FPP near the club also 👍🏻

Ya right mate, but isnt it shit when the likes of Nixon and Barnes come out with stuff thats not true.Think they just chuck a guess in every so often to keep us ticking
It happens most days on here mate. Difference being, most posters on here aren't “journalists” One journo takes a punt, then they all think they have to say something. They are no different to the ITKs on here.

What you on about all he's said is someone local and he think it's positive
Aye, an I replied to someone saying if FPP were involved I'd imagine Prehab wouldve let on to that a little bit more, and you disagreed, which is why I said it's my word against yours pal and neither of us know.

They’ll have to be involved if the loan isn’t paid off, I’d imagine the new people will just take over the terms of the loan!

It would definitely be a comfort knowing that people involved won't ever fuck the club over for their own ends. I'd be more than happy if they were part of a consortium. As mentioned we'd need more funding than they're likely to have access to (if we're talking about ultimately getting back to the top flight, which needs to be the aim for this club) but if they could agree with FPP to keep the loan in place then we could get the best of both worlds. People who care about the club running it, with major financial backers feeding money in as required if they're shown it can be spent well and the club is being ran in a sensible way. For the likes of O'brien he could have the satisfaction of playing a major part in our comeback, and could make a good profit if it goes well and he sells to a credible buyer further down the line. With his links to FPP I really hope he's involved even if they stay in the background for the foreseeable until we get a grip of the club and get it competitive in the league above

As if he would know

Nothing is showing on Companies House regarding the loan being paid back so FPP must be giving their approval to who its being sold to. Hopefully it is the OBriens and FPP stay involved
