Everything was done apparently just waiting for the ink to dry and the announcement. 10 minutes later the club announced the deal was off and Simon Grayson had been appointed manager!

The academy has produced 4 or 5 player capable of playing in the top 2 divisions in about 2 decades. The manager deemed none were good enough for the 3rd division.
It's a good asset, but maybe a luxury we can't afford at the moment
