Hey, I'm one of the posters on here who'd want him gone the most. Have done since day one.....just don't see how they could do it with the timeline we have.

Unless they have zero faith in PP and also someone in mind they think can use the players we have/recruit fast before the season starts.
I agree as much as I hate parky I think it would be stupid to get rid before January that’s if a takeover happens

Or have a manager who they've spoken to and is ready to hit ground running. Is there anyone who may be in this position who's dropped hints in the media?

Can't imagine they'd want a wrangle with a manager who has a job, so who is available presently?

Nathan Jones? Nigel Clough?

Im genuinely concerned about who he would be willing to sell us to. It’s a shame in hindsight more questions weren’t asked of Short’s willingness to sell us to any fucker, which turned out to be these lot.
Short had invested good money at Sunderland that I thank him for but his arrogance to trust all the money grabbing Managers CEO’s agents & players coming for retirement checks was out of control. Some players had pride majority should be ashamed of themselves stealing money. The Rodwell’s of the world come to mind.
I just want a long term plan with an owner who cares about the club and willing to put his money where is mouth is at the right time to improve Sunderland long term.
Let’s start at the Academy and spend some good money on recruiting youth develop great young players & recruiting scouts also need to be in place. A foundation that can carry on for decades.

Aye cannot fault his financial commitment for 8 years at least but his decision making was appalling.
