I’ve vhanged jobs in the past for more money and hated it. I was a supervisor and when I got offered a managers job I jumped at the chance. Within a month I regretted it. Money isn’t everything

Totally agree. Going to give it a year and if it's still not for me look to move back down a level.

I always try to cover broad expectations early on as a candidate to see if they are likely to be met.

Made the mistake this year of going through 4 stages including interviews in London and Manchester only to then decline an offer as wasn't what I wanted.

Waste of time.

Realistic expectations can vary massively depending what position you are in but I wouldn't move external for less then 20%
