If you’re making a salad, what do you use? However banal this thread might sound, I fancy a salad now and I want inspiration from you lot. Salad rut.

Take some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions. Drizzle with a light dressing, throw it all in the bin and have something tasty instead.

Cheap and cheerful but simple iceberg, cress, lettuce ,cherry tomatoes halved, a few yellow peppers, grated mature cheddar and tossed in Cesar dressing served with mashed sweet tatties. Just nice for this weather

Depends if you’re having it with meat or not. I like to grate carrot, beetroot, white cabbage, yellow pepper. Maybe a few chickpeas.

Make a dressing with tahini and half a lemon.

Ideally some bbqed chicken on top.

Lettuce, cucumber tomatoes are the bare essentials. Mix it up from there. Love a salad me... sometimes feel I need one when I've been eating too much crap.
