Would point out that his transfer request has come as he wants guaranteed first team football

no it was about the player, the deal was done and Sam tried to pull the plug and sign Wickham for double the money

obviously having managed hm for a year Sam realises he got that wrong

Noted marra, good point re. Wickham, drifting through a football career

According to our official ITK on the club website and many papers AC Milan have accepted our bid of 26m for Bacca

As an aside lot of money for a 29 year old, but he guarantees goals, and as I know with payet and you with Defoe 29 ain't all that old nowadays

Although as said previously if he comes you may have to wait for us to sign another striker too before releasing Sakho

He really is a good player and will do great for you, i'd love to keep him but with Carroll as plan B so to speak won't begrudge the bloke not wanting to be 3rd or even 4th choice

If him and. Carroll could actually guarantee staying fit I'd say we didn't need any strikers in first place!!

I wouldn't be so sure Bacca will guarantee goals, hell of a lot of money to pay for a striker who has never played in the premier league before, schevenko mark2

If Sam is still our manager and if we sign Sakho, then you would expect Sam to shuffle the pack. Sakho, Defoe, Borini, Watmore and Khazri could be fighting for three places between them, even if we didn't get Ayew.

A nice problem to have, play the in-form players or the ones to suit the match. I would still expect one central striker most of the time, whatever the options.

Younger than he was and has done it in both la liga (32 goals for Seville the year before last winning the Europa) and serie a (20 for Milan last year in a poor side and defensive league) as well as at international level

nobody truly guaranteed I suppose but would be very surprised if he doesn't do the business

He's a finisher and with payet, Lanzini, feghouli, Antonio and tore we should make him chances

If we get him of course no chickens being counted here till I see him on the pitch holding shirt and tucking in to pie mash and jellied eels

Sakho for me is best as lone striker (he will make the runs in behind like Defoe but is also much more physical, not as good a finisher obviously) and can play in a two also so either with or instead of Defoe (injuries and rest etc at his age will take longer)

He has played wide at times but for me he not the best out there

Actually maybe not younger but shevxhenko had had lot of injuries and very much on way down by time got here

Good unbiased information as always from you, one question though, in your opinion do you think Sakho/ Valencia would be an either/or transfer out or would the board be pushing for both out at once ?

13 in 33 for Colombia, not exactly great, but not bad, hardly a guarantee of goals

Pretty sure schev was around 29 30 when he signed for Chelsea, I think its a huge gamble for that sort o money, it seems the dildo twins are hell bent on spunking 30 million on a striker no matter who it is

No have always expected Valencia to go he has talent but just can't seem put it together

Sakho as said I would love to keep but as said we looking for at least two striker before he was possibly going and he far far too good to be stuck at 4th choice or whatever

He really is a top top player

He's had lot of injury problems, missed more than Carroll last year, then this could all be linked he had trouble with police over alleged assault with ex (cleared), crashed his motor into someone house, stormed out of training when didn't start v Arsenal (prob didn't help that his replace my Carroll got hat trick). Then were rumours of row with song

Know that makes him seem nightmare but is all totally against everything had heard before about him and all in very short space time so think the law stuff may have been weighing on him

Hear it all time but I honestly think a fresh start away from London will do him world of good

Not quite, pulled away from benteke due to wages and turned down can Persie even tho he offered take a wage cut

I more confidant with bacca than batshuayi for example who we had the huge bid accepted before Chelsea came in

He got 17 goals in the far weaker French league

I know sounds bad but literally all came in space of a few weeks

Now he cleared of the trouble with law sure he go back to what was before

If he was that bad bilic would have had him out by now, he's a genial bloke that players love, he goes out drinking with em and that, but he takes no shit at all, as showed when made amalfitano train with kids and cancelled his contract last year after missing a meeting and then gobbing off

Defoe 29?

Years left in him

Well let's hope we get him, I will trust your endorsement and thanks again. Now time for me to hit the sack !

Sure they are fine now Sam wouldn't be in otherwise
f***ing hell, at last another decent poster who supports a different club other than the mighty SAFC.
Tell me though why do you come onto the SMB ?
Is the craic that good?
