Shaw CC are delighted to announce the signing of Saj Mahmood. Saj has enjoyed a prolific career, including winnning the County Championship with Lancashire in 2011 before moving to Essex shortly after, and claiming a spot on the England test team in 2006. Rumour has it though, he has always dreamed of playing for Shaw and we are more than happy to help his dream come true! We played this lot in our pre season tour last year. Unfortunately it was snowed off and we played them at all day/night drinking instead, their young lads took a pasting :lol:
 
He played the first half of this season in Oz in the top division of my league (Cricket Victoria Southern & Bayside) for Beaumaris. Didn't exactly tear it up for an ex Test cricketer....

He should never have been a test cricketer or have ever played on the international stage. Jade Dernbach is the modern day Saj
