To sack Capello now would cost the FA a reported £6 million, but they might be able to get rid of him AND earn a seven-figure compensation package if a report in the Daily Mail is to be believed.
The paper says that Internazionale are looking to hire Capello as their new coach if their disastrous season under former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez continues.
The Milan giants won a treble of European Cup, Serie A title and Coppa Italia last term under Jose Mourinho, but they are currently only sixth in the Italian league which has led to calls for Benitez to be sacked.
Inter were interested in Capello before the World Cup but England fought hard to hang on to their man. However, you suspect a new advance for the 'prat in the hat' would be treated a bit more favourably by the suits at Wembley Stadium.
