We started this season quite well though so it’s disappointing to be sitting joint bottom, albeit with 2 or 3 games in hand on everyone else in the bottom table other than WBA.

We are much more competitive this season and regardless of the league position I bet the lads who are playing are enjoying their football a lot more than the ones playing last year.

Win a couple of those and we’re comfortably mid table, really tight league. Also Diamond, Neill and Younger are stepping up so don’t feature as much whilst we’ve also lost Kimpioka for months and Curry’s impending move to Miami would appear to have put him out of the line up. It’s quite a turnaround from last season’s shambles to be fair and I think that must largely be down to the previously much maligned Ged Mcnamee.
