What has that got to do with it?
You send the idea of leaving the club to a bunch of money men is frightening. You don't who these men are or even if they exist. We could possibly end up with owners like those at Leicester, Wolves or Southampton.

People are in a panic that Donald and Methven could leave the club and it'll be a terrible thing. Maybe it could be the best thing to happen to the club.

I hadn't heard of Donald & Charlie nee way I'm trying to spell his surname

But least they've brought the feel good factor back

The city is buzzing again unlike the last two seasons

There’s no way they’ve invested that amount of time and effort in one year, just to sell up in the summer.

I fully expect Donald to give it a few years, get the club into a solid state financially and try to get us back into the premier league and THEN sell the club.
that time and effort could have taken the club's worth from 40m to 70m let's just say he is worth 100m I'd say 30m for a years work is worth it
and without getting to premier league the club's value won't go much higher than 60-70m and as he has said without major investment which he doesn't have we won't be going anywhere near premier league
with current squad we'd be lucky to compete for 20th in championship

Hopefully they are looking to invest but with Stewart Donald retaining a controlling stake.

We are a much better prospect now then we were this time last year. If we being taken over by a Chinese consortium it's because the club is a better investment. That was their original goal.

I agree. Definitely want them to stay but it does worry me that they haven't got the funds for this size of club in reality.

I also sensed a shift in SD's mood on the podcast after deadline day. He seemed miffed with the abuse and he's not on twitter as much now.

Anyway, 2 + 2 and all that.

The important looking people might just have been the Plymouth owners?
Could be anyone mate. Suits galore at every game

Interesting to see if donald rescts to this on twitter.

I reckon he will but in a fairly vague way.

My suspicions would be either they're fund-raising, or they've had an unexpected offer that was too good to refuse.

Sartori's involvement doesn't seem to make a huge amount of sense if it's the former, which suggests the latter.

Here we go again!

Would imagine Stewart and Donald would love to stick around and take the club back up to the highest level but we all know they would need further investment fornthat to become a reality whether that’s Sartori or/and another. They have done a great job as has the doc to help raise the profile of the club despite our double relegation. They are business people though and if they could sell and make a tidy profit then for them it would be a job well done.

Both of them?

Apparently a group of investors were shown around yesterday, anyone heard anything?

Apologies if SEB, quick scan of the main page and I couldn’t see anything.
Interesting news but wouldnt come as a surprise as we always knew that the current owners tenure could be short as we hopefully move up the leagues.

Donald in Hilton before the game with 3 VIPs and an overweight lass iirc.
Pics?
