Oh. I still can't understand how you're agreeing with me but I'll take it ;)
My post was a rejoinder to yours taking issue with the poster who said zog was left footed ergo only played lw. you correctly refuted that.
the remainder of my post was trying to point out that said poster obviously hadnt seen him play in ages.

Playing on the RHS of a front three as a leftie is different from doing it in a 'traditional' 4-4-2, though. Thats how I'd expect it to play out for us TBH should he sign - on either side of a front three or on the left of a 4-4-2.

He played in a 4-4-2 though?

N'zogbia - Thomas (or whatever his name was - Diame - Moses

I sir, did not just state that he played on the left (I had also mentioned that he could play right attacking midfield RW) and said he was a predominantly left sided player. Further back in the posts I was trying to justify my decision to place him into a left sided formation, the original argument was put to me that he never actually played on the left

Muntari is not an attacking player

oh god dont you start

He is more of an attacking midfielder than Sessegnon, agreed his main position is central midfield but (and Im sure I pointed this out earlier can and has played/been utilised/expanded upon his normal role in an A/MF capacity on a number of occasions

I stand corrected on that one (more assists for Sess but more goals for Muntari this season - working on current stats) But still stand by my two original formations working with the squad we currently have not as individual players in their own right. Opinions at the end of the day though

1.

Gordon
Onuha Bramble Mensah Bardsley
Henderson Sessegnon Cattermole N'Zogbia
Muntari
Gyan

2.
Gordon
Onuha Bramble Mensah Bardsley
Henderson Sessegnon Cattermole N'Zogbia
Wellbeck Gyan

Remember there last or second off last game last season when they best Arsenal. He payed RW and tore them apart. Scored an absolute peach too, you're talking out your arse.

Also because he's got a left foot means hes a left sided player ffs

You played him LB all the time and he hated it

We played him left back for about half a season. Other than that he spent most of his time on the wing - including the 4-1 when he sleepwalked through your defence.

Defo more a LW than RW.

N'Zogbia played most of his football on the left for Newcastle either at left back or left midfield, he has played most of his football for Wigan on the right, he's better at Wigan than Newcastle so get him playing on the right.

From Portsmouth i remember him being defensive but could score the odd long ranger. still though his stats on football manager are those of a defensive midfielder.

yeah he plays a similar role to essien. how anyone can say he's more attacking than an attacking midfielder/winger is beyond me

N'Zogbia has played the best football of his career at Wigan on the right wing and if we get him that is where he should play.
