Here we go! Bent for say Zog, Muntari and maybe SessegonemissingatPSG. Good deal or not? Nail your colours to the mast here.

All three for the price of Bent? That would be fantastic, and completely ease our midfield concerns. Striking options however...

I still haven't a scoobies about who this Sessogsomething bloke is or what he can do with a football, but I'd have been thrilled with N'Zog + a spare £10m for Bent.

Left wing
Left back
Right wing (his preferred position and where I would play him)
Just behind the striker

Gordon
Onuha Bramble Ferdinand Bardsley
Henderson Muntari Sesegnon (sp) Richardson
Nzogbia
Gyan

Mignolet, Zenden, Malbranque, PDS, Angeleri, Colback, Elmohammady

with Welbeck and campbell back at some point

Go on then NEmo - I'm definately convinced even without another Striker

Just been told by the usual source lads that an equiry has been made this morning. No more details as of yet......

careful Baz youll fall fowl of the usual fuckwits!!!

imagine how many Boselli's wigan could buy with that

great deal for them
Whelan must be livid re Boselli.
6m down the drain he cant afford plus no money in.
With them looking very iff and zog digging his heels in re his preferred destination, a relegation firesale would not be an attractive proposition

Now that side would have every chance of competing for Europe. Especially when Mensah, Turner, Welbeck and Campbell and even Meyler are back.

Gyan has been injury prone in the past marra. Huge risk to stagger on with just him.

As I've said, IMO Bent was out the door the day we signed Gyan. Bruce knew it and so did Darren.

Interesting quotes from Bruce when Gyan signed...

The arrival of Asamoah gives us more tactical options than we had before. I wanted somebody to lead the line, and the one thing that Asamoah has always done for Ghana and for Rennes is play as lone striker.

He’s used to that and that can help the team when we play against the bigger sides where we know it is going to be difficult to be open and expansive.

A lot of people say that it’s defensive if you play with one striker, but Arsenal have done it for a while now.

But their midfield players flood forward and they almost end up with three strikers.

Chelsea are another one – they only play with one out-and-out striker.

So in that respect it gives me a lot more options.

Cattermole out of the squad? ALL RIGHT.

Henderson Muntari Cattermole N'Zogbia
Sessegnon
Gyan

Imagining the flowing football this squad would produce, rustles my jimmies.
