SAFC AROUND THE WORLD

Bali. It's the Balinese Hindu day of silence, Hari Nyepi, on Sunday. No electricity, no lights, no leaving the house and internet switched off in most places. Just my luck.

I expect absolutely no sympathy as I've been very happily riding out the pandemic here, staying well clear of the crystal-swingers in Ubud and Canggu who refuse to wear masks or socially distance.

11pm kick off for me. Checking into an expensive hotel for Saturday and Sunday with the promise of enough wifi to stream, or at least keep up to date with, the game.

I'm only an hour ahead in sunny Spain.
Haven't decided whether to watch at home or in a pub, though probably at home.
I'm assuming it's 3pm kick off, so 4pm here and the bars shut at 6pm,so if it goes to penalties, I'll have to dash home. 😕
Puig is a twat. We've got another month like this, we have almost the fewest amount of cases but they've decided we'll continue like this until the 12th of April.

Four of us, outside and socially distanced with masks, on the patio of a friend’s (MLF) pub. Lock in, not open to the public obviously....even though indoor drinking/dining is technically allowed here now.

Feel a bit conflicted but we have all been very cautious throughout. First time we have watched together in over a year.

Complete opposite in Madrid - bars, gyms, hairdressers, shops all open all day long. Hard to know which is the best way forward - we've got the worst levels in Spain.

I'll be in the house - may be a few MLFs knocking about with the windows open
