£20m is virtually nothing in professional football and is dwarfed by player values. It’s tricky to pull off but so far so good.£20m unless they transfer it into equity
Yes, it's very reassuring. That’s been the intention for some time.
No we didn’tWe got all the cup money minus the FA share. The mags agreed to it.
but still gotta be careful with it.It's probably sad to say but 8.1 million loss in this league is pretty good
Probably got the same estate agent/chartered surveyor who over valued the flats in echo building when they were builtSo is that the stadium valued at 300m? If so how the hell can it jump from 91m to 300m?
Was. Not any more.Is there not a business centre in the Hilton like?
What was it last year?
Poor showWas. Not any more.
They sell Jobe as an example for 20 mill it’s wiped that out straight awaybut still gotta be careful with it.
Accountancy wise I think the whole transfer fee goes into the books despite being paid over the length of lnds new contractProbably paid in installments
Exactly this. The amounts relating to unpaid instalments are shown in the debtors numbersAccountancy wise I think the whole transfer fee goes into the books despite being paid over the length of lnds new contract
8m loss ain’t so bad but just shows how shite this league is for generating revenue, gotta get promoted tbh
I get that, i agreed. Thats why they are being careful with the transfer dealings/wages. Some people were saying we aren't ambitious enough to invest. they just dont get it isnt ? Football is all about businesses, so be it.They sell Jobe as an example for 20 mill it’s wiped that out straight away
It’s benefit if their model the value in the squad now means we’ll never be in any real trouble with figures like that
That was big problem under short and Methven and Donald they had nobody to sell for decent money
Pickford money allegedly short pocketed the lot of that
Certain posters have claimed we’ve been spending nearly as much as we can which is clearly bollocks.Looking at that I think we're in a decent position to gamble a little more next season. Losses aren't a big issue when you can sell one player and wipe them all out, cane we've got more then one to sell if we had to.

The losses are manageable which is far better than a lot of football clubs. Clearly the Smogs are being massively propped up by Gibson. I'm sure it made up for the £200m or so he lost. They sell Jobe as an example for 20 mill it’s wiped that out straight away

Be interesting* to see how the new TV deal and the Hummel deal affects the major revenue streams next year.
*OK, maybe not that interesting.
