Sack Poyet now

I have just watched the cup final video again off here, that night at Old Trafford, hells teeth, still can't believe it, then Poyet when interviewed after the game, bursting with ebullience when questioned on whether we could beat City 'why not' he cried.
Roll on a few weeks, 40000 of the happiest people I have ever seen in one place, Borini and whatever happened next and then a week later and it is crash bang wallop.

Look at us now, fucked.

Having thought about it I think this is the right way to go - he's completely lost the plot in pretty much all areas of his role. 'tactics', team selections, man-management, media comments etc.

Since our gradual, alarming slide to the foot of the table since the Hull home game he's been disastrous and is getting worse. He looked like a lost soul in the dugout at Spurs last week

His 'rotten to the core' outburst for me is absolutely unacceptable, it wasn't that when we'd beaten Stoke at home and Newcastle 0-3 to go 12th/14th, prior to our big day out at Wembley. Everything was rosy then

However, since things have gone tits up and the going has gotten tough he's passed the buck big time, his latest comments for me just highlight this further. The last 12 months in the Premier League have been nothing short of a disaster, the period shared by two outspoken foreign rookie managers who have been shown up to be out of their depth and it's cost us, meanwhile West Ham and Crystal Palace have eased to safety, I wonder why. Even Felix Magath could now keep Fulham up

Short will sack him anyway imho - either when relegation is confirmed or at the start of the summer. No question. Poyet was brought here to keep us up, nothing else.

Worried about the future

I think Gus's head has gone, but...

We don't have a hope in hell of stopping up, so if there is any chance Gus might jump ship in the summer then we might as well wait and try to avoid another payoff that we can't afford.

He wants away man, its as plain as day. Making disrespectful comments about the club so he gets the bullet. If he did want to stay, very clever bad mouthing the squad when we will be selling half of the twats in a few months time.
You could look at it that he knows who will be leaving so is aiming the comments at them. At this stage of the season with relegation all but confirmed, I really couldn't give a shit who he upsets anymore, end of the day we all agree that the players don't care and the board have fucked up more than I can remember. If he wants to leave then fine, let him quit, if not, then let him get on with the massive job it will take to get us back up again.

Just an aberration, nothing more.

We lost and haven't won since.

Keep him because I think the alternatives don't bear thinking about !!
That is scary like....

I don't particularly believe in gus and he can fuck off for me.....but it may be a case careful what you wish for like.

No that's nonsense, we have changed players and managers. The common denominator of course is the board. They are hopelessly out of their depth and I think Poyet has realized this over the last couple of weeks

Now you've gone off course. Care to put some meat on the bones as to why the board are out of their depth?

Were the board out of their depth when we made the League Cup Final? Were they out of their depth when we beat the Mags 3-0? Were they out of their depth when we were up to 12th and the sky was the limit?

Did Ellis Short insist on spending £3m on Scocco? Did he demand Poyet switch to 5-3-2 mid season? Did he insist on him making some truly mental substitutions and tactical changes?

Or is Poyet suddenly realising there is no-one else to blame?

Like I said, ten weeks back I thought he was the one we'd be waiting for. But the horror of the last 2 months (which is as bad a time as this club can ever have had) is largely of Poyet's own making.

Don't tempt me to hang about, cause I would love to see your faces when Neil Warnock or Billy f***ing Davies pitches up, scarf aloft.

It's depressingly staggering mate, it really is

Malky Mackay would be my choice, personally

You have got to be on a wind up. You have been posting about stability for weeks.
Not weeks, I've mentioned it a couple of times

Although yes, I have had a complete change of heart having thought about it all and what's been said recently. for me, he has to go.

He is simply tossing the blame atm and I see nothing to suggest that will change. I have very little confidence about next season with him in charge
