Sack Poyet now

We need to give him some time for fuck sake
I reckon we could demand to have the next manager sacked before he has played a single league game. We are that f***ing fickle now I can honestly see us losing a pre-season game and some spenks on here would call for the manager to be sacked before it's too late!

Really don't know what to think anymore.

Ten weeks ago I thought, along with most, we'd finally found a gem of a manager. Since then no wins, both Cup dreams gone, one of those basically thrown away, and quite frankly poor tactics, team selection and substitutions.

I started off taking right against him and am starting to wonder why I bother giving these managers a chance after that interview. If there are problems the way the club is run, say so and don't mince your words. If there aren't any, then he has to be sacked. What a clusterfuck.

He's a good manager IMO with his first experience in the premier league. We need stability and we should do that with Poyet. He can rebuild in the summer for the championship, challenge for promotion and wether it's this season coming or next he will be better prepared for a second spell in the PL

Interesting this 'rotten to the core' thing; I've read the transcript and I can't see that phrase. Were they actually HIS words?

Anyway. Sacking Poyet would be f***ing stupid. Pellegrini couldn't keep this shower of shite up; it's not poyet's fault at the end of the day. He's made some mistakes perhaps, but it's like criticising an artist who's got no f***ing paint. The average fans' answer on here seems to be 'oh well, things are shite, let's sack another manager!'. Well hang on, why don't we give this guy some time to see what he can actually DO, once he's rid of this bloody dead wood he's having to 'work' with!
And this

Do you think his comments today were professional?

I've just listened to the full interview with nick Barnes on radio 5 and I'd say there is no chances Poyet will be our manager next season. Basically put the blame at the boards door, not enjoying it any more and a dramatic change at the top is needed otherwise it's pointless. Strong words and I'd be amazed if the board don't sack him.

Hate to agree with you as of course is true of anyone on here but that was a "sack me or back me" interview and has me questioning his integrity, the more so given what happened at Brighton last season.

What amazes me is that this could happen after the club took so long making sure he was the Right Man

Whats the common denominator in all of this??? The players ffs! A new manager comes in they perform for a few months then go back the usual shite. People get pissed off the manager gets sacked. Cycle starts again. Its a vicious circle of shit and big pay offs and people still want new managers every 9 month or whatever it is thinking they will solve the problem. Open your f***ing eyes you fickleCUNTS

Indeed. But why should we expect the board to suddenly start getting anything write when they are hopelessly out of their depth?

You are a moron. He can get rid of the players, he doesn't want to be here. Read between the lines you nugget.

Bardsley, Cattermole etc wont be here next season so why is he doubting his future.

I've said all season he'll keep us up and take us forward, how wrong I was. I don't know what on earth has happened, we've played some good stuff under Poyet and got ourselves out of the bottom three, had a Wembley final, and now it looks like we're going to go down with a whimper.

I can't understand what could go so wrong, and I think the 'gutless players' accusation often posted on here is far too simplistic. Something else has to be going on.

No that's nonsense, we have changed players and managers. The common denominator of course is the board. They are hopelessly out of their depth and I think Poyet has realized this over the last couple of weeks

what is this love in with kevin ball? someone tell me whats hes done??
He once won a game and that was only played because the fist game was abandoned when Fulham (our opponents) were winning. I think that is his one and only win, it's mystifying that they still want him, crazy.

Maybe not, but I do think it an honest appraisal of our club and at the minute I would rather he said what he feels rather than some corporate bullshit to appease the fans, media and whoever else falls for the usual shite what normally gets said. The club IS rotten to the core, seems to be run by a set of village idiots and lacks any direction or identity, making us basically a laughing stock again. The only constant is the fans, and we will always put up with any shit that comes our way because we have no choice, it's not as if we can go and support someone else is it. If it costs him his job then he is right, the rotten core will have won again and as I have said on another thread he needs time to build the club up again. Will he get it? Will he fuck, we are bored of him already!

No one would want the players unless they are on a free or on loan which alot ofthe ssquad are this summer weve had deadwood clinging on for years now

We need to give Gus the chance to rebuild the team and then judge him next season.
Why? What has he done to deserve that?

That, was the deadwood that replaced the last lot of deadwood. I expect the same thing to happen again. Look! It's all about money and we aren't going ot spend it or pay it in wages, all that will happen is that someone else will and we'll get what's left, that is the reason for the mess we're in.

He wants away man, its as plain as day. Making disrespectful comments about the club so he gets the bullet. If he did want to stay, very clever bad mouthing the squad when we will be selling half of the twats in a few months time.

Nonsense. The common denominator in all this has been the tea lady. She's stayed the same, even as managers and players and tactics have come and gone.

Open your eyes and smell the coffee... er... tea...

My fear is that it's an attempt to get out with a pay-off too. I wonder if the club are looking at the disciplinary angle.
