Sack Moyes now.

Moyes isn't the problem, he is working with a squad very light on quality that is unfortunately hampered by plenty of injuries.

Spending £13 million on an inexperienced youngster from Gabon, wasn't a wise decision by the club when it was obvious we needed a striker and a left back!

Sacking Moyes is a bad idea, he is the right man for us to take us forward the problems are in the board room not the staff below. We've had many managers over the years which all say the same thing and point the finger at Ellis for not backing them to put a quality team together. Usually you're able to get away with it by adding a player or 2 to the side but only if you have the right quality in place, we don't, it's going to take alot more than 1 or 2 players and Ellis is unwilling to back Moyes in putting together that side. Moyes hasn't really got much to choose from just like previous managers. If Ellis wants to gamble and hope for the best again then so be it but he'll get a big shock when we go down and has to cover more money himself.

He has a rebuilding job to do ,
Like it or not we need to start keeping clean sheets,
that should be our first aim

Firstly, let me start by saying. I hate to see anyone lose there position. But I never wanted Moyes from the start. Mark my words...

He will be SAFC's equivalent to Steve McClarren.

Get rid.

OP deserves Warnock as the next manager.

Hopefully, the board have more sense. We need to let a manager see out his contract, even if we go down. Changing the boss every 12 months only leads to the club as a whole stagnating.

I get the feeling that Moyes' departure may be the final straw for Short too.

Everton were near the bottom the first two years he took over, but thankfully was given time and made them 4-7th in the next few years.
I'm going to give him more than a season. More than 2. We need stability.
Wanting to get rid of a manager after 4 games is probsbly one of the most pathetic things ive ever read on here.
I'm in agreement with this. It is frustrating, however, that this seems to be a never ending cycle of just south of mediocracy.....but Moyes has delivered a sustained level of performance at Everton and that skill doesn't disappear over night. Problem is the vultures start circling very quickly these days and Short has an itchy trigger finger. Assuming he doesnt take us down, he'd going to need 2 years at least to get us to a position of comfort.
