Sack Moyes now.

It's bonkers to suggest he goes. However, he's already made life very, very hard for himself on the back of poor decisions in the transfer market and his poor man management/motivation.
Signs don't look good.....mixture of bad luck and bad early decision making.....not site a mountain yet but an uphill struggle.

He can only play the hand that Short has dealt him, which transpires isn't a very good one. The concern is where the goals are going to come from. At Everton he had midfielders who would chip in with 5 - 10 goals as well as a couple of options up front. Here he has Defoe and a lot of defensive midfielders. This will be our undoing. We need to make it to January and still be in with a shout of survival and then bring in another striker. It is a big ask

Then Short is the problem - as much as Moyes is. We need an owner who realizes our manager needs a bit more than what Short gives him. If the Job Center gave someone in JSA as an amount compared to others, what Short gives in transfer money then the person out of work would be going straight to the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Like a good result at Spurs would do all that in one go.
Bit if a knife edge really - win by 2 goals V everton and we go 10th....but we lose 3 nil. Beat Suprs and we'll be back on track - lose heavily and people will start looking for the panic button. Wouldn't it be nice to have a run of decent results for once.

Watch what happens on here after we win at Spurs: thread titles.

I knew Moyesey would get it right

Absolute spot on tactics today

I had faith all along

To the doubters

Signings are beginning to gel

Let's kick on now with some winnable games

Imterested to see who else now shares this opinion?

I don't post on here often, I just like to read people's opinions without clogging it up with my posts. Sometimes though people just post the most ridiculous comments that I feel compelled to reply.

Your comment is unwelcome and serves no positive attribute. It is also a comment I would expect from a little boy. Even if we get relegated, I'd still back Moyes. Now give your head a shake, pick up all of your toys that are strewn across the floor and grow some.

Best wishes :)

Although going two up front was a mistake, it was hardly his fault that our centre backs failed to deal with a cross, twice. It was basic training ground drill stuff.

Spurs away on a sunday is always going to be tough......but then a run of winnable games V QPR in the cup and Palace and Baggies at home.....

Evening of 1st October and we'll have a clearer view of how the land is lying.

To early to think about sacking a manager. But when he signed I was worried he was finished after failing at his last two jobs. His start here isn't a success either.

Somehow we have stayed in the Premiership for 10 seasons despite struggling every year. We make absolutely no progress. The problem is clearly that we change managers virtually every year. Sooner or later we need to stick with a manager through thick and thin. If we'd kept MON, even if we went down, we may now be playing with a recognised style and making progress. I know Allardyce achieved a lot in a short time but that has gone now. I predicted going to the match last night that people would turn against Moyes quickly and so it is. Maybe some fans are as guilty as Short with this idiotic manager merry-go-round.

Moyes was notoriously a slow starter at Everton and he has a brand new squad to deal with. Once he gets the team drilled and gets in a few more players that he needs then i'm sure he will do a decent enough job. He just needs to find that spark again.

On a sidenote, Khazri looks like he has been on the Wigan pies. Always seemed a decent player whenever i've seen him, but he looks to have put a shitload of timber on.

Gooch looks like he has something about him as a footballer.
