This is a transfer window where Big Sam hasn't had his confidante Mark Taylor working for him.

He was instrumental in getting KKK in, in January and has worked with Big Sam off and on since his Blackpool days in the 90's.

The current transfer system is obviously not working to Sam's liking for one reason or another. Maybe the club put the block on a couple of deals.

Strange how the club never disclosed why he was sacked so suddenly earlier this year!

I get the feeling that if Sam does leave, he won't go quietly!

If/when Sam goes, would be happy if then we get a takeover of Chinese billionaires and good manager in. Thus is Sunderland if course, so pie in the sky stuff that.

Young lad, bright apparently but put into a role as a favour.
Not exactly anything to be concerned about
There's lots of young bright lads around.

Its just a shame not many of them are some offshoot of the Goldman Sachs family and the godson of the owner.

This is good news and a step in the right direction.

You're saying all that as if it's fact but most of it's completely wrong. Is it all from the Daily Mail?

For a start he wasn't involved, let alone instrumental in getting in KKK.

Is it, something is obviously away at the club, no signings SAMs mate sacked last season, manager on the brink everything's fine etc is like the owld man in dads army shouting don't panic don't panic.

A Bain restructure? Or an Allardyce restructure?

I can't see it being SAMs he wouldn't have sacked his mate, and I doubt the club would give a manager on the verge of leaving that much power, could be Bain like but I doubt he'd be making so many big calls two weeks into his job. Something is going on over the sol like let's hope it's for the best.

If something is 'away at the club' then Allardyce being approached by the FA for his dream job so being on the brink is nothing to do with it. 'His mate' going has nowt to do with anything either.

I didn't say it was, but it would also point to it not being the manager making these calls, well I hope it would anyway I wouldn't want someone who might not be here in the next couple of days making big calls at this point.
