All starting to come away at the seams. Never ceases to amaze me all this carry on within the boardroom. Anyone from the outside must think it's a circus.

I am astounded that Short has collated such a weak-looking board and resides over a club which lurches from one hole to another. This is a bloke who has made fortunes as a highly successful businessman. I can't get my head around it...

Emanuele eboue , Charles n zogbia , Adam Johnson, Margaret Byrne , Gary "shit hair cut " Hutchinson , Ricky Alvarez , big Sam saga, longest transfer ever recorded in borini, players like vergini, Roberge etc getting signed and turning into absolute semi professional footballers ..... love this club me like we never seem to have a f***ing clue what's going on. Literally nothing surprises me with us now.

Yet another Chinese consortium rumour.. How many can there be? Erm, let me rephrase that
How many Chinese consortiums looking for clubs in Europe exists?

Businessmen making an arse of running football clubs, just doesn't happen.

We can't all get hundreds of millions in oil money you know.

Mike Ashley would never make such basic mistakes with his appointments mind ;)

I know, always the same with us though. I don't think we've had a settled season for years without anything going wrong within the club. I'm not sure Short is the right person to push the club on to be honest.

The Santon thing is an odd-one, it'll be interesting to know what supposedly changed between the clubs since he's still being hawked around the PL. You'd think people know what the deal is with the selling club before entering into player negotiations.

On this Sachs, are we aware of any other skeletons hiding in the SAFC boardroom/closet? Appreciate this wasn't exactly hidden but many are surprised by this lads position/'relationship' to Short. As has been said many times about Short (and indeed other chairmen, eg. Ashley), it is amazing how these men made such a success of their careers/businesses when you consider how amateurish they seem to run the football clubs. Not slating Short from the point of supporting/caring about the club but he has appointed some dreadful personnel over the course of his tenure!

Maybe that's why Higuain turned a Chinese move down, fancies a season or two running up and down Roker beach.

If he's shit, then maybe the new CEO realised he was shit and got rid. If that's the case it's a good thing surely

Well Bain's remit is to get a grip on the finances so if we've been paying too much for average players only right the person responsible for dishing out said contracts gets the bullet. Or it could be a meringue. This is Sunderland after all.

Massive money being thrown about in the Chinese league to attract European stars. I'm guessing that it's the thing to do over there right now if you've got mega money. May have plans to do something similar to your lot and partner teams in China with PL teams.....in the long run that might end up being very profitable. There's also a load of cheap land for sale in distressed areas like Sunderland, great for developers.

I got told santons got the knee of a 60 year old very much similar to that of Lombaerts and has nothing to do with a relegation clause.
