Striker
I'll be delighted if he can make it as a premier league player.
Don't think he will tbh however I wish him well.

Yes it was in a friendly but you can hope. Certainly he has pace and knows where the net is. Those are building blocks on which great strikers can emerge..without them they haven't a chance.
Given our current situation with strikers then even a small glimmer of hope shouldn't be pissed upon. Young strikers who score lots of goals don't always step up and make it. But they make it a hell of a lot more often than young strikers who don't score goals. There are rare players who dont really look very good but always score goals..Gerd Muller, Brian Clough, Darren Bent. Noble probably isn't one...but you never know. Worth withholding criticism until we find out.
He did the best job possible in the time he was on the pitch. For that he should be applauded and given more of a chance to do it regularly.

They both scored today, he is hardly on the verge of world player of the year.
Pity we only came 3rd, 'Noble winning the Peace Prize' is a great headline!

Put down the keyboard. It is obviously a dangerous weapon in your hands.
Ryan Noble is to much of an unknown talent to risk against big teams. Proven quality and experienced players are what is needed.

Here we go. After a promising ten minutes in a friendly a lad who's scored regularly for the youths and stiffs is being shuffled out wide by the SMB glitterati because he has pace, or the manager wont be able to accommodate him as a central striker. Modern football eh.![]()
Is he actually a Sunderland fan? his brother is a mag and he f***ing hates us.
He was our game changer, no doubt about that.
The Campbell/wickham partnership is just not working. Noble seemed to provide far better link-up play in his few brief minutes on the pitch.
Great hold up play and pass for Campbell's goal. Great run and strike for his own goal.
Promising stuff and I've always wanted him to be given a chance. The regular use of Ji as a sub has held Noble back. Bar his goal against Man City at home Ji has never looked like he could cut it in the top flight and he's had several opportunities.
Noble has never looked comfortable in the championship and had a mixed time in league 1. I really hope noble makes it but he is the same age as Ji and hopefully it's clicked for him.
Only time will tell, it's competitive games where he needs to step up.
