Can't doubt his eye for goal, but like has been stated he could do with about another stone and half on

I genuinely despair at this attitude.

No the wonder we don't produce any skilful players, we tell them to get off the training pitch and into the gym.

A bit hard to be nimble and light on your feet when you're built like a tank.

Ji also took the piss for the reserves despite being entirely new to that environment. Dismissing him and hailing Noble as our saviour is silly to say the least. Maybe they could complement each other well.

how do you know he wont cope if he hasnt had a chance?. hes done all he can now and needs to be given a chance or just get rid.

you cant say his goal scoring record isnt impressive no matter what level it is.

I don't disagree with his gs record but he wont be starting on sunday espec playing the full 90 mins tonite..

I agree with that, but people are expecting the second coming of Michael Owen and just need to calm down just a bit.

No they aren't but the first team aren't scoring goals and Noble is banging them in for the reserves, he deserves a start more than any other striker at the club.

Don't think playing 90 minutes tonight will have any bearing on it, just like playing Wednesday-Saturday wouldn't.

this, MON has said he will play experienced players iirc and i'm not sure what he'd be like starting a PL game.

lets not get too carried away here, this is the res league afterall, its league 2 level at best big step up to the prem!

How many league two players are scoring 10 in 4 matches? Of course it is a big step up, but he won't improve unless he is given the chance to play against better and stronger players.

that's his big downfall, he had offers to go out on loan last season and turned them down as he thought he should have been in our first team. He needs to be playing football now.

He can only score against who he's played against and he's banging them in for fun at the min...something the first team are lacking beyond belief. Why send him on loan to get "kicked up a hight" or "bulk up" he's fast and he's a finisher...leave him as he is.

Give him a chance between now and Jan. If he's not scoring, fair enough but we dont have better options until the transfer window opens.

completely agree

Messi is built like an ox compared to Noble.

Over-building can be detrimental to certain playes, but let's not pretend Noble likely wouldn't benefit from at least 10 extra pounds of flesh..

We don't want a fox in the box, we want our strikers to play in midfield, 45 yards from goal, giving centre halves an afternoon off.

Yes and they were shite and Bruce only brought Noble on with two minutes remaining!

Noble wasn't even on the bench v Wigan yet another shambolic decision from our then manager

Anyone that's knocked in the amount of goals that Noble has lately is definitely knocking on the door, he's got to be given more first team opportunity even if only as a sub but just as importantly he should be training with the first team as it's no good just plopping him in there without much prior experience of the players around him.

If Samba and Dann play, how are they going to cope with Noble?

I'm not saying he's a world beater but he'll comfortably beat both for pace.

Pace or skill doesn't matter man.

Noble will have to take on Blackburn's centre halves in a sumo contest before being allowed a strike at goal. Apparently.

they coped with scott sinclair last week who is probably faster than noble.

if noble plays how hes going cope against chris samba & scott dann?

Noble will lose the ball anytime he tries to hold it up and will be brushed off it anytime he has any contact with them. I think people think we can just boot the ball over the defenders and he'll run onto it and score, football doesn't work like that or otherwise Walcott would be top scorer.
