Rusyn issues

They have got him in an air bnb in Southwick so probably some truth in this
:lol::lol::lol::lol:
I want to go home, I want to go home, Ukraine is a war zone and I want to go home 🤷‍♂️

This got nowhere near enough likes - why I love this forum.
I've met him. He understands English but doesn't speak it well. The idea he's refusing to learn in laughable.

Don't think this carries much weight when you can't even spell IS right. Not the hardest word really - 50/50 even if you get the letters the wrong way - think dyslexics would mange this one tbh.

I can imagine he’ll be concerned about family members back home and not 100% focused but I doubt he’s refusing to learn English.
This ☝️if he's planning on having a career as footballer for the next 10-12 years in Europe/USA/Saudi needs to learn it at some point or he's going to have issues.

Not even bothered

We seen it with Lihadji, came here, got the odd few minutes here and there, may have had potential but was a bit part player.

If Rusyn goes it’ll be exactly the same.
Doubt it's true. But 2.5m out of the pitiful centre forward budget means if it is true we should be really bothered.

The lad probably needs time to adjust and settle, and looking after. This is frequently the "challenge" for us as a side, we get lads in and rely on them to instantly switch on.

That being the case you need a very considered recruitment strategy, not supermarket sweep.

Not refusing to learn English

Is not settling well over here though
Will have family and friends who have to go to bomb shelters regularly. Maybe friends who are on the frontline.

If we can’t put in special, personalised interventions for him, then we are failing in our duty of care. Some of the stuff I read about Jewi - some of it from Mowbrays mouth - worries me.
