Russia invading Ukraine (NEWS/UPDATES)

Russians are blaming Liz Truss for the escalation of there nuclear policies.

Clear as day they’ll target us first if he does decide to push.

In fairness as much as they need to fuckoff, she does need to keep her mouth shut a bit. Coming out and saying we should fight Russians in her capacity is absolutely ridiculous.

This 100%

Highly risky comments. Picture UK reaction had Putin said on TV that he'd support Russians eg. Joining up with the IRA or fighting with Taliban to kick UK/USA out. Immediate global condemnation.

Loose analogy I know but you get my drift.

No sexism implied but she needs to hide in a meat fridge til this is all over.

Russia blames Liz Truss for nuclear 'special alert'
Earlier, UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace downplayed the nuclear "special alert" announced by Vladimir Putin, suggesting that the Russian president wanted to distract people from his forces' slower-than-expected progress in the invasion.

Wallace told the BBC: "We will not do anything to escalate in that area, we will not do anything to feed any miscalculation - we take it very, very seriously. But at the moment this is a battle of rhetoric that President Putin is deploying."

Now, the Kremlin has suggested comments from Foreign Secretary Liz Truss were the reason that Russia put its nuclear forces on heightened alert, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.

"There had been statements by various representatives at various levels about possible conflict situations and even collisions and clashes between Nato and the Russian Federation," said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Vladimir Putin.

"We consider such statements absolutely unacceptable. I will not name the authors of these statements, although it was the British foreign secretary."

It's not clear which comments by Truss the Russian government objects to, although on Sunday she said she said she would support individuals from the UK joining an international force to fight for Ukraine.
is there anything Pork Markets can't f*ck up?!

The claims that over 4,000 Russian troops have perished don’t seem to be backed up with evidence on social media , is it just me that is thinking there’s more propaganda coming from both sides than usual ?
I can see where you’re going wrong mate.

The bit about where you’re getting your evidence from f***ing Twitter seems to be problem as far as I can see.

If Twitter told me my cock was massive I’d still need to get the ruler out and confirm for myself.

There's this.....

Seems to have gone full Colleen Rooney/Rebecca Vardy and named her

The good thing there though is that they're effectively saying 'we're not mad, it was in response to something we felt was aggressive and escalating'. Much more measured in tone compared to the last few days.

edit - this is the exact wording from BBC:

Thanks for posting the info.

The problem with Russian statements though, is that they are full of shit.

I have no doubt that Truss is a complete idiot, and her presence annoyed the Russian diplomats.

But to blame her for the atrocities Russia have committed because of NATO's "threat" seems over the top to say the least. They seem to have a different excuse for their madness everyday. At the end of the day this is one mans fault, the bloodthirsty murderer, who seems to be losing the plot.

Unless Truss phoned Putin and said "I'm going to aim a nuke at your Russian hat you squat dancing dickhead", i'm not sure nuclear war is her fault.

To be fair it is reassuring that the heightened alert was for something she said. We can happily sack her to avoid nuclear war.
