I'm not saying they did single out Ukraine for this reason. But didn't 'Ivan the Terrible' from whatever death camp belong Ukraine way? Maybe there is an anti-Russian ex Nazi brigade element in Ukraine. But maybe it's exaggerated.why single out ukraine? there were quite a few countries had nazi sympathisers.

That is true. But who equipped the big stick, from when, and why?Having a functioning military and wanting peace are not mutually exclusive
"speak quietly and carry a big stick"
I'd love to see an ex Nazi brigade these days. They'd all be about 100!I'm not saying they did single out Ukraine for this reason. But didn't 'Ivan the Terrible' from whatever death camp belong Ukraine way? Maybe there is an anti-Russian ex Nazi brigade element in Ukraine. But maybe it's exaggerated.
Well that’s the next Buk missile target sorted….
If they used them in UK as we are led to believe, why hasn't the main target appeared to say hello, I am alive. Could be done in any room, at any time, without revealing his whereabouts. There is evidence that they supplied them. But they did use them in the UK.
Fair play to him, this is exactly what needs to done by the Russian population.
There'll be some corner of a foreign field that is forever Syria.Volunteered apparently
So what do we think of the convoy surrounding Kyiv? Do they actually have a plan after all, or is this going to end badly for them?
You mean dissenting voices should be silenced? Even those who are merely asking questions. When did 'our side' become such a parable of truth?
Hardly surprising - once Putin's gone, Allishad's days are numbered.Volunteered apparently
Pretty sure Anthony Beevor mentions how the Nazi's shelled Stalingrad in his book and it made the city almost impregnable. The general opinion amongst experts is it will be a bloodbath for the Russians. Conventional wisdom is 5/1 upper hand for defenders in Urban warfare.
And there is a hell of a lot of Ukrainian forces, equipment and advanced Western weapons in Kiyv.
Add in the terrain; 100 meter wide boulevards surrounded by high rise buildings and it’s likely to be a bloodbath. They are highly likely to shell it heavily first Is imagine
You and me both!I think I meant to write paragon of truth.
Looks like Fratton Park.@Awaydays23: The Yuri Gagarin Stadium(Chernihiv) in Ukraine has been destroyed by Russian bombing #WeStandWithUkraine
Ivan the Terrible began by fighting the Nazi's, it was only when the Ukrainians were overran by them did he and others convert and do their bidding. I'd hate to even imagine the tactics used by the SS to persuade them into going down such a route. Not trying to defend Ivan or his actions mind, far from it. But it was war and afterwards he managed to live a completely normal life. Doesn't convince me he or anyone like him would be much of a Nazi sympathiser is all I'm sayingI'm not saying they did single out Ukraine for this reason. Which makes it harder to take. The general opinion amongst experts is it will be a bloodbath for the Russians. Conventional wisdom is 5/1 upper hand for defenders in Urban warfare.
