19:45 in the Sunderland 5k tonight …don’t think I could have given much more. Official PB by a mile and beat my treadmill PB by 2 seconds

Getting a few now and will see how I feel in the morning for Penshaw!

Like a bear with a sore head today. Wife always says I'm a pain in the arse when I can't run. Times that by 50,000 when I cant run in the hm this morning.

Not sure where I pulled that from, 42:24 at the Sunderland 10k! Second fastest 10k I've ever ran which is surprising considering the climbs, my previous 4 efforts at this race have been in the 44's.

Amazing time. PB for me at 46.40, I really do like that 10k.....

Thanks a lot! Well done, yeah it was the first race I ever done, so I always come back to it each year.

1:51 in the half today. Well chuffed. Not sure it was a full half but its 5 mins faster than my previous best half marathon.

Was class being back at a proper event.

49mins for my 10k, not a pb but had niggles so im happy.

Conditions were perfect.

Really well organised also... I quite liked the relaxed start, stopped the usual people charging through like its the 100m final.

The hills are brutal, the last 1km or so up from the old train lines through the field and then the back of the monument must be the toughest finish to a race ever!
Pleased it's done, and I beat my target of under 3hrs, something to aim for to improve upon next time.

43 min 10k PB for me today, all my training has been awful and would have been happy with a sub 50. The weather, that feeling of having someone to beat ahead of you and someone breathing down your back really helped. Didn't realise how much I missed it.

How'd you get on?

I finished in 2hr 8 mins. I started just wanting to take it easy & enjoy but I built into it and put an effort in after coming back over Cox Green bridge then the last hills and steps!

I thought the offerton / a19 hill was the end of it so was gutted when we had to go down and up again

It’s a tough course but got to love it. The medals Trail Outlaws do are class as well.

Great weekend to be fair as well, the Sunderland city runs & Penshaw - a bit of normality back and great to see so many PB’s on strava / Facebook
