In the 70s n 80s every council estate had a group of lads who grew up together and would end up drinking down town together and often fightin the other groups , just seemed to be the way it was back thenDon’t think I’ve ever felt uncomfortable in any pub in Sunderland. Was worse in the late eighties for trouble anyway, especially with the north/south divide that went on for a few years...

There was about 5 of them put the lad in a coma, he was still in a coma 20 years later but I don’t know if he’s still alive.
