ROSS

You dont sack managers who have lost only 4 games in their 1st full season in charge, its complete lunacy. None of those players were JR's . He came here from scotland with no knowledge of the lower leagues in england , thats why Coton and Hill were hired to over see recruitment.
Any way , am only pissed off because I and others who had the balls to back JR have to sit and watch this disaster ,. Its a direct result of his sacking.

If only we still had a manager capable of lifting us to the dizzy heights of 5th in division 3.

People assuming that because Ross wasn’t up to the job that those who wanted him gone also wanted Parkinson as his replacement is the new bizarre one.

It’s bigger than that man, it’s the ongoing malaise of changing managers and players it’s destroyed the club

He was failing.

The issue isn't the sacking of Ross. It's the 2 at the top. They can not find, run or be proactive a club of this size. They cost cut balance sheets. They don't have strategy in place.

Bunch of arseholes. And the appointment of Parkinson is the ultimate fuck you to the fans. Now we have Tory boy Charlie telling is he is the ultimate manager, we should be grateful.

Fuck off.
Tbf to Ross, he was never backed financially and operated on freebies and loans

Based on the fact we're scratching around in league one... For example if we stuck with Poyet he'd never have got us relegated from the championship & I recon he was trying to create a sustainable team for the Prem... Sacking tourettes has got us what we deserve

You're right, any team needs time gel even if it means relegation quite often they come back stronger under the same manager.....look at Norwich now. 1st season under Daniel Farke they finished 14th, they stuck with him and got promoted

This is the biggest exaggeration over Ross’ first season in charge. How many games did we draw? How many leads did we blow? We threw a fantastic opportunity towards the end of the season to get promoted and completely bottled it. Maja carried Ross and when he left we went to complete shit. His football was awful, and he failed to rectify his mistakes until the day he was sacked.

I agree that they aren’t Ross’ signings, but he must have had some form of input? If he didn’t, then that’s complete idiocy from our scouting team and owner or whoever authorised the transfers. You sign players for the manager, not players who you think might perform well. Leadbitter is the perfect example of this. Donald probably thought he was onto a winner signing a former player, but he was the last thing we needed at that moment in time, we had four other midfielders who could do his job. Ross had to go, he wasn’t performing. Parkinson shouldn’t have been appointed, and we should have shown some ambition.

Same squad under Ross that's now under Parkinson and it's their doing....some are clearly not putting the effort in, some are just too f***ing old and the rest are just bang average for this league.....all of them can do better but they cant be arsed.

And who in their right mind bins off their top scorer (A homegrown teenager, who is at the top of the league charts, no less) for 1 million in the middle of a promotion push? Not Jack's fault, that.

And now, the same team has gotten much, much, worse since he left.

Problem is we come back with the same manager & are worse
obviously you weren’t at Wembley to watch that shower under Ross

What a disastrous decision to sack him.
SD caved into the short sighted fans who just couldn't give JR the time needed to sort this car crash of a club out.
He would have done it given the chance.
Now we are well and truly reaping the rewards .
We have made some bad decisions in the last decade or so , but the sacking of Ross, is as bad as the hiring of Moyes.
You're an idiot searching for likes from other idiots

So say you went to a restaurant called Jack's Haggis Hangout and the food was shite. Next weekend you decide to go somewhere else obviously so you try Parky Pizzas. The food is awful there too.
Now would you sit there wishing you were back at Jack's Haggis Hangout? Surely the next weekend you'd try a different option ?

Letting him go for free in the summer would have been better business and chances are if we were promoted he might have stayed on.
