Ross Stewart

Can talk about what he should have done a lot easier with hindsight. Equally he could just shift for a bumper pay day at the next opportunity irrelevant of league or club.

What will be will be. Most reassuring thing for us is he isnt indispensable
For me the biggest thing is who replaces Amad, if we can replace Amad with Amad then I don’t think we need a proven 20 goal striker, as long as we have a “natural” striker to get in the positions anyone will be able to put them chances away with the supply they’ll get.

Why would a leaked story have a quote?
Because most story's that mean anything have a quote in from someone involved in the deal. My point is it's just pure media speculation as happens every day during transfers windows. Why does it have to be a leaked story ?

A story wouldn't be 'leaked' if it had a quote in would it? It would just be an interview or direct story. Not sure you understand what 'leaked' means.

The quote stuff is also clueless nonsense. Dozens of transfer deals get broken without a quote. The semedo deal was all over Portuguese media with not one quote.

Ok Mr expert on transfers🤣 I fully understand what a leaked story is, and am still waiting for someone to say why it is a leaked story, and not just media speculation

He’s certainly a top end championship striker. The bizarre thing is though, he has allowed himself to be paid well below market value.
As I said on other thread if I was him I’d be sacking the agent. On a relatively poor contract and long term injury when he could have been paid a hell of a lot more.

The club and Stewart need to come to some agreement as in a contract extension with a decent pay rise and if he fully recovers and we aren’t in the premier league next summer the club would be sensible with him if a decent offer comes in from a premier league club which would set him up for life.
