Ross Stewart

Plucked Stewart from relative obscurity and gave him a platform to perform. And tbf he has done very well. He then has a serious injury and the club still back him and show faith by offering a new contract even though there a no guarantees he will be anywhere near the same player.

Not going to lie its starting to piss me off that the same loyalty shown to him by the club doesnt seem to be being reciprocated.

Luton now apparently. Can't see him going there.

Think it would be a bad move for him and he'd really struggle for goals in the premier league in that team, but I think he would go personally. They will have a season in the prem and will be able to offer him a massive wage increase on this current league one wage.

Nowt new really is it. Players always look after themselves. To be honest it’s that long since he’s played I am happy either way. No guarantee he comes back the same after the injury or it it might reoccur. Other clubs will surely take that into account.

It seems that he’s simply been chasing a more lucrative contract. Let him go, if so. Beyond the money, is it in his interest to leave when the options are Stoke or even Luton

He could still be sold for enough to contribute to a replacement. He cost buttons and helped us get promoted. We can move on. Would rather give someone else a chance this season than nurture him back to fitness and then lose him for nothing at the end of it.

Hard to see him randomly signing an extension.
