Ross Stewart

I'm sure Clarke is on something like 18k a week isn't he? If Stewart was wanting 20/25k, that doesn't seem like much of a leap to pay. I think he's probably been wanting in the region of the high 30's off the back of the Premiership interest when he was fit.

The injury and the length of time he's been out has thrown his contract up in the air due to everyone waiting to see if he comes back the same player.
We need to move on from Stewart and sign an upgrade

And rightfully so I'd be having a go

Selling star players is not the way to go if we want to go for promotion

So AN didnt go to Stoke then?

Has Ross Stewart signed a contract with us?
Well you are complaining we arent competing with southampton yet they are selling players key players first.

How do we keep a player who won't sign a new contract and we can't afford to offer what Southampton are?

Alex Neil didn’t agree with our recruitment strategy and got a bumper pay rise off Stoke.

Stewart has been injured for the past 6 months and has been offered a big wage increase elsewhere - if we were offering the wages Stoke/Southampton would to Stewart, you’d have complained.

He’s not our star player mind, he’s played only a third of the season and is recovering from a serious injury. It’s clear Clarke is more of a star player than Stewart is - but you know that really.

By offering him a decent and fair wage

And when we miss his goals then what?
What if we can't afford it? It's easy saying pay it.

But if rigg got 10 goals and this season and was offered 50k a week at Newcastle. Would you expect us to be able to compete there aswell?

Southampton turnover will dwarf ours with the parachute payments.

He is our star player and if we offered the wages that them clubs may be willing to pay him I'd be over moon. Shows we want to keep our better players and genuinely compete and finally show some ambition

Why mention them up the road? And lets be realistic a 16 year old isn't going to cost £50k per week jungle book boy

No, he’s not.

Also, you offer wages of say £25k a week to Stewart - then the likes of Clarke, Ballard, Patterson, Neil, Roberts etc start asking for it - see what I mean? It all adds up and means we’re financially in trouble should we not go up.

I’d rather not spend £25k a week on someone who might not be able to run quick again.

Back to the jungle book boy. Funny how that stopped last week when I embarrassed you and the whole board was laughing at your complete and utter freakish lying behaviour.

It shut you up for 5 minutes

The lad said our transfer policy would get us relegated last season. Didn't you @Be Here Now

Certainly knows what he's talking about.

Ah well no Premier League football but nice balance sheets then

Because you'd be reporting it and trying to get people banned.

I thought we were getting relegated last season?

We need to genuinely compete with ourselves first. We’ve already fucked our selves up the arse by not having a financially viable plan.

I want Stewart to sign as much as anyone, but I’d prefer to see this team improve in the right way long after he’s gone.

Think West Brom are now showing how vulnerable you are if you dint get it right.

Derby are the perfect example of how you get it wrong. Their play off final the same weekend we played Charlton showed what happens if you gamble financially. A breath from the Premier League, League One now. Weve already been there & done that.

Why would I have reported it?

YOU were the one saying you would reveal my initials not me. I asked you to do it and you shit yourself and then I gave them anyway.

Where did we have that pint again?? Still waiting to know

He reckoned Mowbray was a dinosaur and our model would get us relegated last season.

It's amazing how we finished top 6 considering that. Almost like he's f***ing clueless

That's not true. You claimed I didn't know who you were and we didn't have a pint and i said we did.

Stop all the bullshit. I'll give you my seat number and we can have that pint. If you don't want it then stop playing the arse and shut up man

Pint is there whenever you want it.
