Ross Stewart

Best CF we've had for years and I'd hate to see him leave. But if he doesn't want to be here playing a part of the best team we've had for a long time, in front of probably the biggest crowds in the league all season where the fans love him... goodbye.
Big crowds mean nowt its big wages he wants.
People need to forget this big crowd nonsense/obsession.
Aye, best team we have had since dropping down.

I’m a bit tired with this will he won’t he palaver

He came from Ross County and was injury prone and going nowhere

he comes to safc as a reserve for Wyke , then hit a peak during a promotion winning season

he started well but again ended up injured for months on end

he has the biggest stage available , outside the premier league to perform and really needs to understand that

I know all the blah about shOrr career and all that stuff but he will be richer than probably 95% of the people who follow Safc and now it’s time for a bit of loyalty or just leave to the supposed greener pastures

the example he can look at is Bent who left and was rich beyond most people dreams but his career went downhill pretty sharpish

so Ross if you read this, do the decent thing and put this to the end , either way eh ?

stay, brilliant and do your job and help safc progress

leave so be it but though your bank may bulge , you won’t experience support you have at safc at the likes of stoke or Southampton

down to you lad
I've said it before & I'll say it again.

From the clubs point of view their employee is injured & not contributing.

Why would they give him a 3 year contract on 20k per week or whatever?

What if he's a crock now?

Maybe it's a mutual thing.

He comes back, gets fit, scores goals then the contract follows??

Sooner he goes the better to be honest. He's really messing up the recruitment side of things as it stands. if he goes we will need 2 strikers coming in so the quicker this mess is sorted the better.

He's been very badly advised by his agent here like. Should've taken the 15k and fired us to promotion where he would have no doubt doubled his wage in the premier league with us. Let him crack on

Alan Nixon says he's off to Southampton.
Great move for the lad if he is to be fair, they'll be straight back up
Possibly one of the only moves that makes sense.

Stoke, you’d get the wages, but I’ve got little confidence they’ll be getting promoted anytime soon.

Us, he’ll not get the wages he desires, but footballing wise we’d like to think we’re heading in the right direction on the pitch & at least have a chance of getting promoted.

Premier League, it’s not happening this window, id have my doubts the January window too, due to injuries & short contract.

Southampton? Probably bigger wages & a better chance of getting promoted. Obviously it can all go wrong for them, as it has West Brom & Norwich, but right here & now, it makes sense.

That last comment is how I think it'll go tbh, unless they get a really good offer before the window shuts of course.

We really blew a massive chance of getting back into the Premier League. I hope that we are going to spend big.
Spot on, most cant see this and expect us to breeze it this season.
Mid table im afraid with current team
This is a mad post. The only reason we ended up where we were last year was sensible recruitment. Not just spending. Why would we want to change a system that is currently working unbelievably well?

We’ve all lived through “spending big”. Fuck me, two players went on strike.
