Pretty much what the bald snake will be saying to the Stoke city directors.....Stewart is a fabulous player, moves well, and is an intelligent player. In my view, he is well worth a salary consistent with his best striker status before his injury.
Imho, I just wish Stewart would say he's staying or going, then we're done with the bl00dy ongoing saga and get back to normal life. I get the impression whatever we offer him will be trumped by Stoke or other teams who see the potential value of what Stewart can/ may offer.
Using the same unfounded level of optimism I buy lottery tickets every week. I've got a better chance of the jackpotI thought about Niall Quinn and found this
On his return he never looked completely fit, with rumours constantly circulating that his career, at aged 30, might in fact be at an end.'
This sounds very much like another top forward who many on this board have now written off. We all know what Quinn and Kevin Phillips subsequently did together! Maybe Stewart will come again and amaze us.
The silence from Stewart and his agent is deafening.
