Yeah i agree. If we sign Defoe, he'll be a very useful impact option off the bench, to play alongside Stewart if we need a goal. But I certainly don't see him as an effective replacement/back up for Stewart directly, because Stewart has attributes that are vital to our game, that a short, 40 year old whp has barely played for a year, simply cannot bring to the table.I was watching that yesterday thinking, although I really wanna sign Defoe, and I think we will, if Stewart gets injured we are kind of fucked
