@Whitburnmakem that can't be can it my son. Never... :)
Do you not understand what I was saying or something ???? If we get Defoe it would be more beneficial to have more promising strikers as we don’t have any barring Stewart!!! and I think a different style of player like maja or broadhead would be the kind to benefit more from his advice as they would have similar qualities to improve

If he gets injured our promotion hopes are knacked like. He is absolutely essential to how we play.

You have to wonder what on earth Ross County were doing playing him on the wing like. Who on earth did they have up there that they thought was a better striker than Stewart?!

He is a great find mind.
He always puts a full shift in and wins so much good quality possession for us. Target man, goal scorer, pressure presser, passer. He’s got it all. It was weird how he went a bit quiet when Broadhead hit his purple patch then roared back like a lion rampant as soon as Broadhead got crocked.

He is class. Did absolutely everything for the team today.

He’s got a great turn of pace aswell for a big man. I think it takes a lot of defenders by surprise.
All of this…but he carries too great a workload for me…needs someone like Broadhead to stretch the oppo back line to share the workload and offer an alternative goal threat.

Stewart is knackered. At times yesterday we had nobody within the 18 yard box. We are gambling again with promotion.
He doesn’t look knackered in the slightest. Still as fresh as a daisy on the pitch, covering the miles and doing his job perfectly. Another assist yesterday and ultimately played his part in winning us the game. Best striker in league one by a distance (until we sign defoe). Absolutely no need for this over analysis.

Shame we didn’t play him last season or we would be playing championship football now.

Lee Johnson must agree with you cos he never takes him off !! Even after a hattrick agaist Cheltenham game won in a game he put in some miles still wouldn’t take him off There must be a reason behind that

I agreed he’s the best striker in the league by some distance aswell

Looks like a rabbit in the headlights when faced with a decision of coming off his line to sweep up or not. Kicking is shocking aswell.

Will need to improve considerably to be at a good level in the Championship should we get there
No idea what keeper you are talking about mind. Hoffman is exceptional for this level and would fit in at most championship clubs easily. Hopefully we can get him signed up permanently.

There was a lot of knicker shitting from the north stand at least yesterday with him passing out but that’s what our fans have always been like - was the same under Gus. He’s doing his job very well

..as in getting into the 18 yard box. Watch him.

LJ has history for grinding players into the dust mind, so wouldn’t trust his opinion on fitness management - just ask Willis.

His roles more complex than just getting into the box to win headers. He’s the top scorer in the league, links up 90% of our attacks and we don’t have another striker anyway, only on the SMB could he be getting stick
