Ross Stewart - unlucky? Or a bullet dodged?

The Hunter

Midfield
I'm sure most fans were disappointed we lost him, but wish him well. I do. But it now seems his "return by the end of September" ETA was wide of the mark...this report puts his return back until the third week of October.
We aren't missing his goals at present and maybe the deal for good money suits us more than them...or indeed Ross himself.

I mean you have to say that it has worked out well no? Having Ross here on the treatment bench for that amount of time (I mean since we sold him) would have been terrible. It would have impacted us terribly.

We have moved on very quickly. It has worked out well for us for sure. Testimony to the team (management and players) for being so professional.

When it got to where it got I was owa the moon with what we got for him, shite with him couldn't careless now thanks for the memories but ta-ra

If he can get back to how he was playing before his injuries, then he is one of the best forwards in the league.

We couldn't turn down that money with his contract running out and him unlikely to play properly til November though.
