Stuff like the above is the reason this board is seen as delusional. Say if a much smaller club like Bournemouth came in for him it would be a big step up in quality and wages. I'd love him to stay but if he doesn't want to we should cash in early next summer
Bournemouth will be relegated, no doubt about that. With the parachute money they could pay more in wages but if Stewart wants to go there and play in front of the amount of fans you get at an average house party, good luck to him.

as much as we want them to i would bet 99% of players couldn't give a flying fuck how many fans are sitting in the crowd

many of our fans keep trying to say we're a massive club and draw etc because of our crowd size when realistically nobody cares

Come next summer, the crunch will be whether we can (given sustainability model and our wages framework) afford to pay him the going rate for a top end Championship striker.

Somebody on another thread reckoned 25-30K p/w. (I've no idea whether this is the going rate)

If we cant/wont then there will likely be plenty others who will - we will then just get the best fee we can.

I kna it’s the Sun & Nixon but I’ll be devastated if he gans to another championship club

the vultures are gathering just give him what he wants he’s invaluable to us

we all love him.

But was this a master stroke RE scouting or huge slice of luck?

There is always luck needed in any transfer ( especially from another country etc )

He came in , as back up to Wyke ( 400k ish ,I think ) big money for league one.
Not the best GS record and remember reading he was mainly utilised on the wing.
Usually anyone with a sniff of potential is picked up by the big 2 in Scotland.

Was this incredible foresight or luck ?

There was a lad on here who I think follows Ross County, as well as the lads. He was adamant he was a donkey IIRC. I wonder if Stewart’s game has changed drastically since moving here?
