Ross out of his depth imo

I disagree with your last comment.
Personally I was relieved more than anything that we got the three points.
But we got the 3 points so it was job done. This season was never about pretty, entertaining football it's about 3pts on Saturday, job done by hook or crook.
Yes, we are in a dip of form - 7 points from 5 games is disappointing but it will improve. I think there will be fewer people twisting this time next week

As I said earlier it's all about the points.
I back Ross but I think he needs to look at his selections and set up because it doesn't look like improving.
Grigg was isolated yesterday.

Not if he sets up in the same way game after game.

But we've drawn 12 times, which isn't good enough.
Draw specialists like the good old days...

I'm still not buying this "best team in the league" nonsense. We have the best Keeper.

We also have a midfield Verne Troyer would laugh at, a defence that hasn't gelled properly and we've just lost our main source of goals.

I'm not saying we can't scrape 2nd just that we aren't world beaters even at this level

There is no chance we have the best squad in the league.

The 'team of the season' articles for league 1 rarely include more than one of our players.

If we had the standout best squad in the league like City does in the Premier League then you'd expect to find 3/4 Sunderland players listed.

We're falling into the trap we've seen in the past decade where as Sunderland fans we feel our players should be playing better than they are yet all the nuetrals look at our players and shrug their shoulders.

Only got experience in the Scottish championship, that is my worry. He's obviously a very good coach & puts cracking sessions on but for some reason he can't get us playing from the start.

We only look like a decent side when we go behind in games
