Ross out of his depth imo

We were playing like that prior to Christmas. But then moany fans started saying "never keep a clean sheet etc". I'm not for one second saying it's the fans fault we're playing shit. Just that be careful what you wish for...

Will still rarely keep clean sheets? Not sure what the point is here?

I can’t believe this thread exists!

What an absolute joke this forum has become. One of the reasons for our past issues has been the constant changing of managers every 6 months. IMO we should bite the bullet and give JR two seasons to have us in the championship. Yes ideally we want to go up this season but when you consider the leaking ship he has turned around, assembling a team to battle out so we have only lost twice those season, I think he deserves certainly more time than 6 months. To argue that a manager who’s team has only lost twice all season is out of his depth is just ridiculous!

Honestly some of our fans, getting embarrassing!

And we are still not keeping clean sheets?

Surely that is what Dunne tried yesterday to no avail? Don't rely on shit refs making the right decision first of all!
And MaGuire against Luton.

You'd give him another season in League One?

After a nail biting playoff final defeat possibly. Anything less and he wouldn't have deserved a second shot IMHO

If he took us to the playoff final yes I would. If we weren’t in the playoff finishes I would start looking at what other managers were available and sounding a couple out before making a decision. For far too often we have been a club that’s thought the grass is always greener.

If we miss out on promotion this season, I'd have no problem at all with him being in charge to get us up the season after. Imagine if we'd sacked Reid and McCarthy after play off loses.

Spot on, William, la. You Tell them, you Swiss archery hero, you.
Ross stays, promotion or no promotion. There's a phrase on the tip of my tongue: something about how long it took to build Rome.... Ah, bullet points! I forget.
Ross is the best manager we've had in a long time, in my opinion. Why on earth would you want to get rid of one of the club's best assets? Unless you're stupid, of course, yes, I accept that. I suspect that, over time, the greater challenge will be hanging on to him. Let's wait & see....

McCarthy was p*sspoor and shpuld have been shipped as soon as we got promoted.

I don't disagree. He still got us promoted after a play off loss the season before.
Indeed he did! If we don't go up, I would give Ross another go. If we then go up and p*ss the league like Dennis Smith then I would give him a shot at the championship. If we scrape up playing the crap football we have seen this season then get shot.

And is being found out.

Donald will not accept this for much longer imo.
SD back the wrong horse in Ross if he fails to gain promotion he needs to be ruthless as we have the biggest budget in this league 3 wins out of the draws would have seen us promoted
