You’re obviously a bit thick so I’ll spell it out for you.

KP on goals on Sunday asked about management.

Ross linked in press with WBA.

I’m not saying I’m in favour of Phillips taking over I’m asking the question.

Now is that simple enough for you

I don’t read your posts just saw the topic :D

A reasoned post and i take your point that we have brought in a lot of players in a short time and some margin for error should be allowed. However i would counter this with two points.

1) Luton brought in about as many as we did at the start of the season.
2) There doesnt seems to be a strategy with his signings. I.e signing a CM in Leadbitter was hardly a priority. Signing grigg, who has predominantly played as a sole striker in his career and not fitting him into a system. Chopping and changing the shape and personnel of the midfield. Signing mcgeouch with apparently no plan of how to utilise him properly. You just cannot see the basis of a style of play emerging and it all looks confused.
Luton are a great example - got promoted and built on it. Their manager built the team and then built on it. It is not comparable to our situation.

I am like a scratched record but something like 12 managers in 13 years is rubbish. As a club we've got our pride back - conceivably we could have gone bust - we have owners with a bit of vision and genuine feeling for the club. So, for once, lets have a bit of patience and try and build something. The managerial merry-go-round was a big part of the reason why we ended up in league one witjh £150m of debt.

KP been on goals on Sunday talking how he’s ready to get into management.

Reports today claim WBA were after Alex Neil and if can’t get him they’ll go for Ross. Neill just signed new contract with Preston.

Would anyone object to this?

If it happened I wouldn't be against it, but it would be for nothing more than sentimental reasons. Then again some logical appointments go badly wrong so who knows.

The Clough nonsense is the biggest example in recent years of SAFC fans ruling everything on sentimentality.

Phillips may or may not end up being a good manager. We know colugh is average at best.

Without the name no one would ever mention him.
