KP been on goals on Sunday talking how he’s ready to get into management.

Reports today claim WBA were after Alex Neil and if can’t get him they’ll go for Ross. Neill just signed new contract with Preston.

Would anyone object to this?
Start the car

Apart from taking Burton from the conference to the championship  and his teams are always set up not to be push overs and try and play the game.

He didn’t though. He left them to join derby when they were in the conference. They had a few managers after that including Gary Rowett and it was hasselbaink who got them into league one. He had them at the top before leaving for qpr and Clough came back to finish the season as runners up

I like Ross as a person.....he speaks well and is calm and measured but I don't like watching the team he's assembled. All those players signed and hardly any with pace or power......just slow, ponderous football and a god awful defence.

I’ve always believed in not being too hasty with managers but Ross has had a fortune to spend for this level and I think we are getting worse rather than better.

If we don’t go up he’s be very lucky to keep his job imo.

I forgot it was my fault that Phillips was discussing mansgemt on goals on Sunday and that Ross was linked with WBA.

I agree depolorable

Turning a team, club around from the car crash we were is not going to happen in a few months we were in a right mess
whether JR is the man who knows he doing ok so far all considered, agree we been very average to watch and his decision making at times is strange but in reality he only had Jan transfer window as the summer was more about assessing what players he inherited and trying to get rid of the shite to free up cash for new players
he has the current players putting in the effort but maybe they lack in quality at times which is not really his fault sure if he had better players at his disposal we would be a better team

I wouldn't fancy it tbh. Woukd end in tears one way or another and prefer to remember him for being a legend.

who has he managed?

No from me, but heard its already sorted

Is this what happens when you live on old memories and booze mate? What is sorted?

I like ross as well- but he is more of a duck than calm- bit of an act i think

Popular myths accompanied by predictable knee jerk reaction. Usually follows a freak result and performance. On balance Ross has done remarkably well to arrest the slide, change the negativity which was putting the club under and deserves a good deal of credit. Promotion or not.

It’s a myth he’s had a fortune to spend despite spending more than league 1 and 2 put together.
