My reaction was, he'll get sent off for that. Their player![]()
It’s not bizarre
Not one of his sendings off, has seen a player unable to play on through being injured
Today it was a fifty fifty, where if two yellows were shown, nowt would have been said
Look at how Walsall crowded the ref. Clear plan to over react and get a man sent off
Extra game for frivolous appeal?
I can’t disagree. I’m just wondering how other clubs are allowed to welly safc players from the first min on and it’s just a warning or yellowSo what that they had a plan to get someone sent off. He shouldn’t have been stupid enough to give the ref the choice in the first place.
3 red cards in 7 games, banned for almost quarter of the season and he hasn’t even been here 4 months. He’s a f***ing liability.

Today imo was not a red
Simulation stinks. If they'd both sprang up (which they were both able to do because no-one was hurt) and launched back into the game there'd likely have been no card at all. Play acting is unquestionably difficult for the ref.. it even convinces both sets of fans. It’s not bizarre

Power is a disgrace and shouldn’t be defended in this instance. Yet again he gives the referee a decision to make. That lad has lost us 4 points alone through his ill discipline. I though Ross would have actually done something about it before now. To think he’s defending the challenge is bizarre.
Looked red to me at the time (at the game). Not even a yellow in his view. He's seething about the decision and thinks it will be overturned. Sorry if SEB.
Tbf mate, I suspect Ross knows Power’s Sunderland career is hanging by a thread and he is trying to protect him. I dare say he will be livid with him behind the scenes
It’s up to the manager to get the players to ignore being wound up. How has he not realised that this is what the opposition are going to do?
f***ing hell even against Fleetwood it was obvious that Barton would have the team set up to get in our faces, start fannying on and even swapping ends at the start of the match and still our players weren’t prepared for it.
I agree, but it’s also down to the officialsIt’s up to the manager to get the players to ignore being wound up. How has he not realised that this is what the opposition are going to do?

Eg Jorginho has spent most of the spurs game, trying to rile alli. He pulls his shirt back, which is a clear yellow. Not given, he rakes his calf, gets a yellow.
Should be off but the ref has chosen to allow him to continue
Today imo, the ref was influenced by the commotion. The player was not injured but the reaction you thought his leg was snapped in two.
A simple thing was to give the free kick, yellow power and give a severe warning
Imo he as harshly done to today
I know but it’s not all down to him. Another day, that would not have been a redAnd it’s entirely his fault that he gave the ref the decision to make.
For the third time in 7 f***ing games. He’s played 549 minutes and been sent off 3 times.
The refs always out for Sunderland over the years...Not a chance that will get overturned.
Total and utter tripe.Their player had his feet on the ground.
Power was out of control, reckless and over the ball.
Gave the referree no choice.
