Ross on the Red

We have had some shocking refs this season (mostly trying to prove they arent intimidated by the big club in the league) and JR has kept his counsel and hasnt been critical However, if JR is having a go at the ref I think it tells me the ref was shocking today.

I think its a stupid tackle but harsh for a red. He made it way too easy for a poor referee though.

Two off the top of my head (I wasn't there today). Not bad really.

Its a bit like Ref's looking to book Cattermole - he gets booked for challenges no one else does. Power needs to learn from Cattermole and avoid that sort of challenge.

But its just a challenge for the ball imo. Its not a lunge or high and there's evidently no intent, the reaction of the Walsall players after he gets the card completely shows that. I wouldn't want any of my players pulling out of a challenge for the ball like that.
Someone always has to get to the ball first, if its not uncontrolled of violent, give a yellow, tell him to watch himself and get on with the bastard.

I agreed with him in real time, not sure it will be overturned though based on replay. I would say their player was worse and ref was a homer.

Sent him off on reputation alone in my opinion, like half of Cattermole's yellows
Should be judged on real time though surely? That's what he gets the bellend.

No worries. Which bookings this season have been soft for Cattermole? He's deserved every one that I've seen.
Bollocks. Are you a referee by chance?

Well I don't have a photographic memory of all his bookings. However, I have seen games where he has booked for his first foul and identical fouls have then been committed by the opposition, with no cards.

I'd like to hear some, because it rarely happens at all. There was one down Bradford where our player (may have been Cattermole) got booked and a few minutes later their player committed a possible yellow, but can't think of many more.

You hear the same cliches in the crowd whenever Cattermole gets booked, when it's a clear as day booking.

I’m disappointed in Ross here and if this is his attitude then it’s not surprising that Power is the way he is. I hope they’re not silly enough to contest the suspension.
