Ross on the Red

I find this a really weird situation. Our manager, their manager, their fans and the TV pundits are all saying it wasn’t a red. It seems the only people vehemently and adamantly insisting it was a definite red are Sunderland fans.

I’m sure it should be the other way round.

What are your thoughts on the red card he got v Oxford?

The blokes on EFL on Quest in agreement with our gaffer.

The Walsall manager says he’d appeal if it was his player.

It’s never a red.

Those on here utterly convinced it is need to give their heads a shake.

It’s like they need a hate figure, Honeyman is playing well, so Power’s now it.
Good one

Have to agree. It looked more like an incidental collision between two players. Pretty shocked he's been sent off for it.

Who cares? Different game, different situation. Has no bearing on this one.

Poster is having a pop at fans because the manager and opposing manager didn’t think it was a red.

Both our manager and Oxfords manager didn’t think the one v Oxford was a red either so was wondering whether he thought that one was a red or not because if he does then it’s a bit hypocritical the criticise fans who think this one was using that justification.

At the match, my first reaction was it was a red but could be down to their player rolling about like a fanny. Seen numerous times on the way home and didn't change my mind. Since seen it this morning slowed down and it looks massively harsh.

Aye the number 15 rolling around and then getting to his feet as soon as he realised that Power was off didnt help matters.

Is this just a really poor attempt at a wind up?

I think this is utterly bizarre, I must have seen a different tackle to others, his foot was flat and studs at no time "showing"

Had the craic with a Walsall fan in the pub after he said he was convinced the ref was sending off their player, couldn't believe Power got sent off.

Yes apologies. Was at graft yesterday and trying to keep up with what was happening via my phone when i got chance.
I know we were playing away in black but i must of got mixed up with their player in red
;):rolleyes::oops:

It's hard to see via small video on phone screen as regards Power but yes, there player looks two footed studs up.

Hopefully he does get it rescinded, doubt it, but either way i wonder how this will affect powers mentality on the pitch.
