I don’t know, ask Ross and Stewart.
Or better yet get them in the same room, then ask the question of can we looking forward to signings.

how? we are sigjing someone>?
well he didnt say we were making
he didnmt say he thought we would sign three..he said it could be as manay as three...two bids in..
wyke was injured last season and griifgg was only here for a few months..
the managers should never be the only opinion that matters..because the manager at a well run club doesnt do the negotoating..has absolutely no idea about that stuff..
if you leave everything to the manager you get a moyes like situation where they just bring in their mates..and when they leave you have sto start agan..
Yeah...I’m pleased when anything good happens at the club. There’s just not much of it...
Say we sign the best LB in the League, will that stop us from punting the ball aimlessly around the pitch? Or gifting possession at the first sign of pressure? There’s bigger problems than LB at the club. I’m not gonna be drinking the Donald, Methven & Ross juice until I see a real change how SAFC operates.
Did that not happen?Meanwhile back in the real world.......
YepHow do you know they are “increasingly desperate attempts” there mate? You on the inside track?
So stewy was feeding us bollocks on the podcast?.
Sold the club captain for peanuts without our manager knowing. Desperate, couldn’t do it quick enough. £250,000 to keep club going for few weeks , all to buy time in the hope of a sale .
the ppoint is what they are saying are not nescscessaerilty vontraidcotry. JR has said he thinks hwe only need a left back as it stands, SD says one definite, maybe two more, because he is an optimist,..couold it be he is optimistic that we get rid of fringe players (the thing JR is pessimistic about) and so need more than just a left back?'We're talking about strengthening the team with two or three more signings before the window shuts
Can't be arsed to get in to semantics because it's moot but thats what he said.
that would be dull..they both agree we can..Or better yet get them in the same room, then ask the question of can we looking forward to signings.

or it could be, SD believes he can get an extra player or two for the money available, whereas JR thinks that money wont be ebough without selling?

Yep
And that was my original point. They're saying buying STILL depends on players leaving, yet loads of players, especially the high-earners, have already left. So what's the issue there now?It doesn’t. If you meant buying a LB that’s not what I meant, or Ross. Current squad levels don’t preclude that.
I was talking more generally if further signings in those areas are envisaged.
and we are getting a LB without anyone else leaving..maybe the any more incomings thing is not relatedto finance..but to the fact the sqaud is tfull if we get a LB?And that was my original point. Of course we're not going to buy more players in positions we are already overstocked in, that's fair enough. But we need a LB, and having plenty extra wingers or whatever, doesn't change that!
Youve lost me, i was basically saying its pointless signing another league 1 proven scorer, we have enough alreadypresume you were moaning when they signed were you?
two very different players, both with proven track records. Im still hopeful they'll do well but then again Im generally a cheery little soul.
Thats not a slide, thats falling off a cliff.
Everyone knows the only creative player we have in the side is McGeady, but you think our problem is Wyke and Grigg on the slide?![]()
Didn't selling Cattermole, Oviedo et al not free up enough cash? Is it conveniently one body for one body even though it's apples and oranges pay wise? hmmAlso says any other incoming after that will depend on outgoings.
maja is better than grigg for sure..And yet we Maja who was better than 1 in 2,with similar service.
Grigg played more minutes and scored what? 4?
how would getting roid of catts free up cash? we dint sell him..we paid him to leave!Didn't selling Cattermole, Oviedo et al not free up enough cash? Is it conveniently one body for one body even though it's apples and oranges pay wise? hmm
of course. SD said on the pod JR is pessimist ic and he is optimistic..so we knew that already..but as they are describing ehat they think will happen..neither is wrong, yet.So they are both saying different things then, yes?
Mcgeady was never going to leave as he’d get nowhere near the money he’s on here , and the keeper turned millwall down coz the deal wasn’t to suit . Chairman would’ve had them gone .yo thinkwe hasvent had cash offers for mcgeady and mclaughlin and onien? and yet they are still here?
And ???
